Yello Chilli by Sanjeev Kapoor - Ras Al Khaimah

Yellow Chilli, is undoubtedly one of finest place for Indian cuisines. Their signature dishes are truly worth ordering . You get what you pay for. The staffs are very attentive and courteous.

We had ordered Hyderbadi biryani, Signature dish in chicken, Mutton ghosht kebabs etc: - Their chicken amazed us all for its unique taste.

There was something unique with their Chicken curry. "Murgh Kasoori Boti", Chicken supreme with kasthuri methi and crushed clack peppercorns , slow cooked in saffron.

The restaurant have their seating arrangements partially shared with the food court. This slightly disturbs the ambiance . The baby seats are not properly cleaned. I was hesitant to use them for my baby.

Tamman Restaurant - Ras Al Khiamah

Sept 2016:

The restaurant was closed for renovation for while. They recently the re-opened with a new look. When I say new look. I mean it. It is now "Pure Vegetarian Restaurant" .  But I should say we liked it. We ordered Bhindi Masala, Chapattis and a Masala Dosa. The curry tasted really good. And the masala dosa was crisp and mashed potatos inside were adding to the taste. We enjoyed. The parking can be issue here.

While I spoke with the staff there, he said the restaurant will soon start their Non-Veg operations.

June 2017:

I lately realized they have two branches in RAK. We usually visit their branch near to the market. T.  I did feel they got good porottas, but not long my realization did last. During each visit the quality went towards the lower side.

They have good choice of meals, in banana leaf . They certain did justice to that for sure. And the Thalaseery style biryanis could also be categorized as must-trys.

I cannot forget one of the staff here, always with a pleasant face and a smile. Even at times, if the food doesn't taste good, this restaurant can score good , with this gentleman's hospitality
.

The verdict would be:

Food 2.5/5
Ambiance 2/5
Service 4/5
Quality 2/5
Pocket Friendly 4/5

Food the best way to reach Heaven

Guys, don't get me wrong :- )

Let me rephrase. Food is the best way to feel heaven. My outlook towards life is if we have to stay happy, one need to own a healthy soul & body.  The precise way is through your food.

Indulging in different tastes. Experimenting on the sensations while mixing five basic tastes (together with sweetness, sourness, bitterness, savory and saltiness) always fascinates me. I like to enjoy new tastes,  combinations and recipes.

If I remember it right. My amusement towards experimenting taste or a foodie in me must have evolved, since I started staying away from home. Maybe while I was in my graduation, went on during my career phase. And now being myself a husband and a father, I hit the kitchen to surprise my spouse with spontaneous cusines.

Coming back to foodie tastes. Did you ever wonder why your favorite foods taste so good? Well, you can thank your taste buds. They are small organ located on the tongue in terrestrial vertebrates that functions in the perception of taste An average person has about 10,000 taste buds and they're replaced every 2 weeks or so. But as a person ages, some of those taste cells don't get replaced. An older person may only have 5,000 working taste buds. That's why certain foods may taste stronger to you than they do to older adults.

In a nut shell appreciate good food. Live healthy stay happy. Do justice to your taste buds. Let OLD age not reach us anywhere near ;-)
